Featured in Redfin: What Is Boston Known For?

I was recently asked to contribute to a piece for Redfin's blog exploring what makes Boston such a beloved place to live, and the article is officially live.

As someone who's spent years photographing homes across Greater Boston, from classic triple-deckers in Cambridge to stately colonials in Brookline, I got to share my take on what really makes this city special: its patchwork of distinctly different neighborhoods.

"As a real estate photographer who's shot hundreds of homes across Greater Boston, I get a front-row seat to what makes this city special: no two neighborhoods feel the same. One day I'm shooting a classic triple-decker in Cambridge, the next a stately colonial in Brookline, and the diversity of architecture mirrors the diversity of the people who live there. What locals love most is that you can have a genuine small-town feel in neighborhoods like Charlestown or the North End while still being minutes from a world-class job market, top-tier hospitals, and some of the best food in the Northeast. My advice to anyone considering the move to Boston: pick your neighborhood based on lifestyle, not just proximity to downtown, because Boston's charm is really in its patchwork of distinct communities."
